Ceramics which looks like a marble

I must admit that I was fooled a few times on the fair in Milano 2015 where a beautiful marble coaught my eye and while I was admiring the beauty and touching and exploring all the details I finally found out that I am not looking at a marble but  on a ceramic which looks exactly like Bianco Statuario. From my own experience there is no doubt that this is a top product.

Another advantage is price which goes to approximately 60 - 70 % of white marble of top quality. So when you buy a ceramic and hure really skillful company which makes a perfect assembly the final image is a marble like wall. Only difference which could tell the truth is light which behave differently, but only an experienced eye could recognize it.

Unfortunately even here is omnipresent BUT. When you manage to scratch or damage the ceramic tiles, paving or kitchen top, it is over, there is no way how to repair it. No repolishing as you are used to with marble. Second remark for ceramic is that at least in my eyes there is a lack of harmony and cosiness, ceramic is in comparison with stone colder. But that is very subjectiv and could not be generalised.
